WHITETAIL HUNTING
Nocona Ranch has some of the best whitetail genetics in Texas. We have been improving our genetics
for over 20 years and have cultivated some of the biggest frame bucks in Texas. Our Whitetail
Hunting is traditionally done in hunting blinds or spot and stalk from shooting sticks if the opportunity
presents itself. Our buck to doe ratio is very high and thus the bucks are overly aggressive, this is
why we hunt our trophy whitetail in October and November to avoid the horns being broken up from
fighting. We only offer a very limited amount of whitetail hunts per year, and we don’t charge per
inch like most ranches. We offer three whitetail prices, Cull Hunt, Trophy Hunt, or Super Trophy Hunt.
All trophies are harvested on a first come basis, meaning, the first hunter on property gets the first
choice. You won’t find a better quality and priced whitetail hunt in Texas.
